Cape Cricket is a cricket academy aimed at the UK Gap Year School Student, University Student or aspiring Professional who wishes to spend time training and playing cricket in South Africa during the winter months.

Our managment team and coaches will tailor a programme specifically for you during your stay. This combined with the wonderful climate will combine to provide you with an unrivalled cricket development experience.
You will be allocated a local cricket club where you will practice twice weekly and play league cricket on Saturday each week whilst the Academy is in session. Also you will coach cricket to youngsters in return for payment.

Cricket coaching local youngsters is an important part of this life skills opportunity but you will be paid (in local currency) on an hourly basis for all the coaching that you undertake on behalf of the Merwe Genis Krieket Skool that operates in Schools, Clubs, Rural area and Townships.
You are assured of the ultimate winter cricket experience with Cape Cricket as we utilise the world renown training facilities at Stellenbosch Sports Academy, Accommodation is at the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy, and full use of the cricket facilities at Paul Roos Gimansium School.
