Intermediate Academy (10 weeks)
The 10 week programme provides opportunity to take in more of the real SA cricket experience. More sessions at the outdoor centre, more face to face instruction, sessions with ex-internationals and a half season placement playing club cricket.

Full Academy (20 weeks)
Full academy positions provide the total experience for any young player. Face to face sessions with our experienced academy coaches. Extra sessions with ex-internationals on all aspects of the game. A full season playing club cricket in the Boland /Cape Town leagues and a total fitness programme including regular fitness assessments at Stellenbosch University.

Airport transfers - pick up from Cape Town International Airport, Full travel from Cape Town to Paarl and Stellenbosch. The group have daily use of the Cape Cricket vehicle to/from practice sessions.Tuition
Coaching from South Africa's most highly regarded UCBSA Cricket Coaches, including the following South Africa's internationally qualified coaches:
Shukri Conrad the former head coach of various first class provinces including the Newlands ‘Cape Cobras’ franchise. Guest coaches include: William Jefferson (Leics & England A), Dawid Malan (Middlesex) & Justin Ontong (Cape Cobras & South Africa).3 hours tuition each morning (Mon – Fri). Unlimited additional coaching from Cape Cricket Academy Staff - all of whom are professionally accredited CSA & ECB Coaches. Coaching feedback sessions at the end of each training session. Coaching sessions at the Provincial headquarters at Boland Park in Paarl and Paarl Boys High School. Benefit from top coaching techniques such as, bowling machine sessions and video analysis.
Playing Opportunities
Each student will be introduced to and assigned to a local Cricket Club, their membership paid for the season, enabling them to play each weekend in the local league and train with the club at least two afternoon/evenings each week throughout the season.

Price DOES NOT Include:
Flights - Flight to Cape Town Personal Travel Insurance - Around £100 (we use & recommend Bowlin Insurance for long stay travel insurance). Evening Meals and Lunch on Saturdays & Sundays - A food & drink budget of £5 to £10 per day should be adequate. Players will need to have enough money with them to enjoy themselves should they wish to do some touring around whilst in SA plus extra leisure activities over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
Fees are due in advance and a 10% non-returnable deposit is due when you book your place with CapeCricket.com Early bookings make it much easier to lock in exact numbers for accommodation and also to plan extra coaching staff that may be required.
When you have decided that you wish to go ahead with a Cape Cricket placement we will contact you and arrange a meeting in the UK so that we can both meet and decide the type of placement that suits your gap year plans and budget. We will then be able to arrange the programme that best suits your needs. We will also give you advice on
your travel and visa applications to enter South Africa.
